Driver of Mazda CX-7 to be presumably guilty of accident with five dead people near Penza

Penza, 11 February 2013. PenzaNews. According to the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the driver of Mazda CX-7 is presumably guilty of a major traffic accident that occurred on the federal highway M5 “Ural” in Mokshansky area, the Penza region on Saturday, February 9, in which five people were killed and two people were seriously injured.

“Supposedly, a young man born 1985, who was driving Mazda CX-7, lost control of the vehicle, got onto the oncoming traffic lane and collided with VAZ-2110. As a result, the driver of VAZ-2110, the resident of Mokshansky area born 1956, and four passengers, the residents of Penza, died on the spot,” the department explained.
The Ministry added that the driver and the passenger of Mazda CX-7 — a young man born 1983, were hospitalized in serious condition.
“The driver’s blood was taken for testing. The investigators of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are to carry out a large amount of work to restore the picture of the accident,” the press service pointed out.
