As the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region told news agency “PenzaNews,” the entrepreneur could not provide proper documentation for the goods proving the ownership, as well as certificates of compliance and agreement with the copyright holder.
“Based on the results of the audit, administrative proceedings were instituted under Art. 14.10 of the Administrative Code “Copyright infringement.” Forgery clothes were sent for examination, the results of which will determine further actions,” the department explained.
The press service also noted that the owner of the shop has already been brought to administrative responsibility for a similar violation — in 2010 she had to pay a fine of 10 thousand rubles with confiscation of counterfeit goods.
According to official data, in 2012, in the Penza region the department registered 53 violations of copyright, and approximately 300 pieces of sportswear and over one thousand pieces of chemicals were confiscated.
