Penza, 27 February 2013. PenzaNews. Two students were killed in a road accident on “Penza – Lunino” route which occurred on Wednesday morning, February 27.

As the witnesses commented to news agency “PenzaNews,” the driver hit down two students crossing the road near the bus stop, and then fled.

According to preliminary information, one of the students died immediately from the injuries, the other died in intensive care at the hospital located a few kilometers from the site of the tragedy.

Traffic circulation was partially shut down at the road section.

According to the officially unconfirmed reports, the driver of the car who fled from the accident scene was soon detained by the police due to having a minor car crash.

News agency PenzaNews has no official comment on the fact of an accident yet.
