Penza store manager fined to amount of 150 thousand rubles for bribery

Penza, 28 February 2013. PenzaNews. A fine of 150 thousand rubles was appointed to a 44-year-old Penza store manager who was trying to bribe a police officer for not filing a record against his stepdaughter.

“It was established that on 13 December 2012 at the store on Soglasie St. alcoholic beverage was sold to a teenager. The manager, who was the shop-assistant’s stepfather, offered a bribe to a police officer in the amount of 10 thousand rubles for not filing a record of an administrative offense,” the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The department noted that the decision has not come into force yet.
