Drinking water at Penza collection point does not meet sanitary standards

Penza, 5 March 2013. PenzaNews. Drinking water supplied to Penza regional assembly point of the Military commissariat does not meet the sanitary and epidemiological requirements. This was stated by Rospotrebnadzor experts for railways after examining water samples.

As Maya Ivanova, Senior Assistant to Transport Prosecutor in Volga District for media relations, reported to news agency “PenzaNews,” a structural unit of the Kuibyshev Railway (branch of JSC Russian Railways) – Penza territory department of heat and water supply management maintains deliveries of drinking water to the regional collection point.
“Submission was made to the head of Kuibyshev management for heat and water supply in order to address the violations of Russian law. In addition, the head of Penza territory department of heat and water supply management was fined in accordance with Art. 6.5 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation “Violation of sanitary and epidemiological requirements for drinking water,” she added.
