Employee of Tamala post office sentenced to compulsory work

Penza, 19 March 2013. PenzaNews. A sentence of 180 hours of compulsory work was imposed on a resident of village Tamala, the Penza region, who had appropriated 30,382 rubles allocated for pension payments.

“It was found that in November 2012, the woman being an employee of a post office in Tamala, appropriated the funds entrusted to her, which were transferred from the Pension Fund of Russia in Tamalinsky area for pension payments,” the Senior Assistant Attorney of the region Yuliya Makarova told news agency “PenzaNews.”

She added that at the hearing the woman pleaded guilty.

“Civil action against the defendant for damage recovery was satisfied in full. The sentence came into force,” the agency interlocutor concluded.
