Penza, 21 March 2013. PenzaNews. Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Rospotrebnadzor) in the Penza region found violations in the activity of “VimpelCom” (TM “Beeline”) during an unscheduled inspection.

“Verification was carried out based on the information received from the Penza branch of Federal state unitary enterprise “Radio frequency center of the Volga Federal district.” The audit found that JSC “VimpelCom” uses radio spectrum of 22029.00 MHz operating radio-relay station without permission,” reported the press service of the regional department of Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media.

The service explained that this is a violation of Part 1, of Art. 24 of the Federal Law “On Telecommunications.”

“The provider was issued a determination to eliminate the violations,” the service explained.
