Penza, 5 April 2013. PenzaNews. The resident of Zemetchino, the Penza region, found guilty of raping a 14-year-old girl, was sentenced to 8 years and 9 months of imprisonment in a penal colony with personal restraint for 1 year and 3 months.

“Moral damage compensation in the amount of 500 thousand rubles will also be recovered from the convict in favor of the victim,” the press secretary of Penza regional court Natalia Bychenkova commented to news agency “PenzaNews.”

She specified that the sentence based on the verdict of the jury was announced on Friday, April 5.

“The verdict has not entered into force yet and may be appealed,” the agency interlocutor noted.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, the crime was committed on 16 September 2012. The young man, born 1989, being intoxicated in an apartment of his friend and his teenage sister, came into the room of the girl and raped the teenager.
