Penza, 8 April 2013. PenzaNews. Around 50 police officers took part in a large-scale operation to eliminate activity of five illegal gambling clubs in Penza.

“The police officers managed to get inside with help of the soldiers from Special Forces. The police officers found over 200 slot machines, as well as cash and loan notes of the gamblers. One of the institutions had a notebook with detailed instructions on how to apply psychological pressure on visitors in order to make them play till they lose all their money,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The ministry noted that all slot machines were removed and sent for investigation based on which further actions will be taken.
