45-thousand-ruble fine appointed to driver for bribing traffic police inspector in Nizhny Lomov

Penza, 12 April 2013. PenzaNews. A 48-year old resident of Nizhny Lomov, the Penza region was appointed to a fine of 45 thousand rubles for attempting to bribe traffic police inspector.

“The man was arrested on 8 January 2013 when driving the vehicle without his driver’s license due to having been deprived of it. At the police station he offered a bribe to a traffic police inspector for not filing an administrative offense protocol, but the latter refused from the money and reported to his superiors,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The ministry noted that the hearing of the criminal case was held in the District Court of Nizhny Lomov.
