Penza, 29 April 2013. PenzaNews. A boy, born 2002, who was hit by car on a pedestrian crossing in 8 Marta St in Penza on Sunday, April 28, was hospitalized in a coma of the second degree with a closed head injury, brain contusion and a fractured cervical spine.

“The child was hit by a driver of Renault Symbol. According to preliminary information, the accident occurred when the traffic light for pedestrians switched from green to red,” the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The ministry clarified that the accident is currently under investigation.
