Over 320 drunk drivers detained in Penza region during May holidays

Penza, 6 May 2013. PenzaNews. 326 people driving in the state of intoxication were detained by the police in the Penza region on May 1-5.

The group of propaganda of Traffic Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region told news agency PenzaNews that during May holidays around six thousand violations of traffic regulations were registered.

“Most of them — 1,406 violations — were registered on Wednesday, May 1,” the traffic police pointed out.

The department added that pedestrians committed 350 violations.
