Penza, 8 May 2013. PenzaNews. The penalty of a fine in the amount of 72 thousand rubles was appointed to a doctor of central hospital in Nizhny Lomov, the Penza region for a bribe, obtained from a patient for issuing a work incapacity certificate without actually carrying out the necessary examination and diagnostic procedures.

“What is more, the man is deprived of the right to engage in activities related to issuing incapacity certificates for a period of one year,” the Senior Assistant Attorney of the Penza region Yuliya Makarova.

She clarified that the verdict has not entered into force yet, and may be appealed within the statutory period.
