Penza, 28 May 2013. PenzaNews. An eight-year-old boy, who was injured in a road accident in Kuibysheva St in Nikolsk, the Penza region, died a few hours after the tragic accident.

According to the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the accident occurred last Monday evening, May 27.

“For yet unknown reasons, the boy was hit down by a resident of Nikolsk, born 1992, driving VAZ-2108. The child was hospitalized with serious injuries,” the department explained.

The press service added that the driver had his blood tested.

“The circumstances of the accident are under investigation, and the question of filing a criminal case is being settled,” the department concluded.
