Police officer’s body found in swamp in Chaadaeva St in Penza

Penza, 29 May 2013. PenzaNews. The body of a police officer, who disappeared on Monday night, May 13, was found in a swamp in Chaadaeva St in Penza on Wednesday afternoon, May 29. This was announced by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“According to preliminary information, there are no traces of violence on the body,” the department noted.
The press service explained that the swamp in which the body was found is located in the same place where they previously found the man’s car.
“The body has been sent to the morgue to identify the cause of death. Investigators continue working at the accident scene,” the press service added.
As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, a man, born 1966, – Penza police officer disappeared on Monday night, May 12-13.
The man left the car service station on Karpinskogo St in Penza driving his Nissan Almera.
Later, his car was found in a ditch on Chaadaeva St near penal colony No. 8.
