Penza, 29 May 2013. PenzaNews. Police officers are investigating the circumstances of the accident which occurred in the apartment building in Vtoroy Vinogradny Proezd St in Penza on Tuesday evening, May 28, when a boy aged 1,5 years fell out of a third-floor-apartment window.

“It was established that at the time of the accident the child was alone in the room. His mother was in the next room with her friend. Presumably, the boy climbed out of bed on the table, and then on the windowsill, then leaned against the mosquito-net which could not support the weight of the child. As a result, he fell out of the window,” the department explained.

The press service added that the infant was hospitalized with a brain concussion, bruised wound of temporal area, and abrasions of the lumbar region.

“The accident is currently under investigation,” the press service summed up.
