Penza resident died in attempt to climb down apartment building using sheets

Penza, 31 May 2013. PenzaNews. Penza resident, born 1956, died when trying to climb down from the window of an apartment on the 5th floor using sheets.

According to the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred on Thursday evening, May 30.

“The man fell down. As a result of injuries received, he died on the spot,” the department commented to news agency “PenzaNews.”

The press service added that currently investigation on the fact of death is being carried out.

“It was found that the man did not work and abused alcohol,” the press service stressed.
