44 slot machines confiscated from illegal gambling clubs in Kuznetsk

Penza, 11 June 2013. PenzaNews. The police confiscated 44 slot machines from three illegal gambling clubs which resumed their activity in Kuznetsk, the Penza region.
According to the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the law enforcement officers had shut these illegal gambling clubs down before.
“The illegal clubs operated under cover. For the purpose of protection from unauthorized access, the building was equipped with enforced steel doors, the customers were identified by administrator with the help of CCTV system installed outside. Access to the halls with slot machines was allowed only to the regular customers, whose names were in special database,” the department explained.
The press service specified that all confiscated equipment was sent for analysis based on the results of which procedural decision will be made.
“Investigation officers are establishing the organizers of illegal gambling to bring them to justice,” the department noted.
