Penza, 11 June 2013. PenzaNews. A sentence of three years of imprisonment suspended for 2,5 years was appointed to a resident of Kolyshleysky area, the Penza region, who posted pornographic videos in a social network VKontakte.

As the Senior Assistant Attorney of the region Yuliya Makarova commented to news agency “PenzaNews,” the man was convicted of three episodes of an offense under subsection “b” of Part 3, Art. 242 of the Criminal Code “Illicit production and circulation of pornographic materials or objects.”

“It was found that in March-April 2012, the convict posted pornographic videos to his page. He did not limit the access of other users to the page, thus exposing these materials to public with an opportunity of copying, which is illegal,” the agency interlocutor said.

She added that the sentence has not entered into force yet, and may be appealed within the statutory period.
