Criminal case filed over incident in Penza camp for children

Penza, 1 July 2013. PenzaNews. A criminal case under Part 1, Art. 111 of the Criminal Code “Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm” was filed over the fact of causing a closed head injury to a 10-year-old boy, a visitor of a children’s camp in village Nizhnyaya Elyuzan, Gorodishchenskaya area, the Penza region.

“According to preliminary reports, on Friday evening, June 28, the camp children initiated a conflict at a camp disco. Three boys aged 11–12 years old led their peer out of the building and beat him,” the Senior Assistant of the Head of Investigative Department of Investigative Committee in Penza, Media relations division Lyudmila Fomina on Monday, July 1.

She added that at present, the circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
