Penza, 2 July 2013. PenzaNews. 11-year-old boy riding a bike on the road leading to village Ust-Murza, Shemysheysky area, the Penza region died from injuries received as a result of a collision with Nissan Tiida.

According to the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the tragedy happened on Monday, July 1.

“According to preliminary information, the boy came out from the minor road. According to the driver, when approaching the turn, he noticed two cyclists who were standing on the side of the road, and he saw the victim only at the moment when the boy appeared on the road riding out from behind the bus stop,” the department explained.

The press service added that a criminal case was filed under Part 3, Art. 264 of the Criminal Code “Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles.”
