Penza, 9 July 2013. PenzaNews. Three people — two men and a woman — drowned in the Penza region over the past day.

According to the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, a woman, born 1966, was found dead in Sura waters opposite Rostovskaya St on Monday, July 8.

“Another tragic case was registered in a working village Zemetchino where they found a dead man, born 1960, in the Vyshi River. Moreover, a man, born 1973, drowned in pond Darevka in Luninsky area,” the press service explained.

The department noted that the main cause of the tragedies was alcohol consumption.
