25-year-old resident of Verkhny Lomov drowns in Penza region

Penza, 17 July 2013. PenzaNews. A 25-year-old resident of village Verkhny Lomov, the Penza region drowned in front of witnesses on Wednesday morning, July 17.

“The accident occurred on the river Lomovka at around 4:00 in the morning. Currently, we are searching for the body,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

“Police reminds that the main cause of accidents in the water bodies is swimming in a state of alcoholic intoxication,” the department added.
