Penza, 25 July 2013. PenzaNews. A resident of Bashmakovsky area, the Penza region was sentenced to administrative detention for failure to pay a fine.

“The resident of Bashmakovsky area was subjected to an administrative fine in the amount of one thousand rubles, but failed to pay it within the statutory period of time, thereby committing an offense under Art. 20.25, Part 1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation,” said the chief expert in media relations of the regional administration of Federal service of judicial bailiffs Kseniya Pivovarova.

She explained that the judge, having examined the materials of the case, sentenced the debtor to administrative detention for a period of 5 days.

“Federal service of judicial bailiffs of Russia in the Penza region reminds that a fine must be paid no later than 60 days from the date of its imposition. Note should be taken that detention does not eliminate the obligation to pay the fine,” the agency interlocutor stressed.
