Over 70 slot machines confiscated from two illegal gambling clubs in Penza

Penza, 30 July 2013. PenzaNews. Over 70 slot machines were confiscated from two illegal gambling clubs operating in the center of Penza, during the search, conducted by the department of economic security and anti-corruption of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
According to the press service of the department, the club visitors were making bets when the police officers arrived.
“The officers found notebooks containing records made by the employees of the illegal institution. They reflect all the cash transactions of receiving money from the customers and issuing prizes, as well as the names of the debtors,” the department noted.
The press service explained that all of the confiscated equipment was sent for examination.
“The police are establishing the owners of the business to bring them to justice,” the representative of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia summed up.
According to official statistics, in the first half of 2013, over one thousand slot machines were confiscated from illegal gambling clubs of the region, and over 600 of them were destroyed.
