Participants of conflict with Moscow traffic police inspectors charged

Moscow, 5 August 2013. PenzaNews. The indictment of insulting and using violence against a representative of authorities was brought in against a resident of Moscow, born 1981 and a resident of the Penza region, born 1992, who created an emergency situation when driving Mercedes along Moscow Automobile Ring Road, and then beat the traffic police inspector up.

“Currently, the two accused men are arrested. In the nearest future a petition will be initiated on their remand in custody,” said the press service of the main investigation department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow.

The ministry reminded that the incident happened on Saturday morning, August 3.

“According to preliminary reports, the driver of Mercedes created an emergency situation on the road between the two vehicles which followed him by using emergency brakes. The situation happened near the traffic police posts. When the police inspector headed to the place of the traffic jam, two passengers of Mercedes came out of the car and beat the police representative without any visible reason, hitting him on the head and torso. A criminal case was instituted under Part 1, Art. 318 and Art. 319 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,” the press service reported.
