Three men sentenced to imprisonment for fraud in Penza

Penza, 19 August 2013. PenzaNews. Three residents of Gorodishchensky area, the Penza region, who appropriated four thousand rubles belonging to a prostitute, were found guilty of fraud.
“It was established that in June 2012, Ravil Tugushev, Ali Tyugaev, and Rafik Kosnikov noticed an advertisement about sexual services. Ravil Tugushev called the telephone number and arranged a meeting. Upon entering the apartment, he handed the woman two thousand rubles as payment for sexual services, and then introduced himself and a police officer showed his badge and called his companions to conduct the search. The men found money in the amount of 4 thousand rubles and declared that they need to verify the bills. The fraudsters demanded that the victim proceeded with them to the police station and said they would wait for her in the car, after which fled the scene,” the Senior Assistant Attorney of the Penza region Yuliya Makarova told news agency “PenzaNews.”
She noted that the men were accused of a similar crime in December 2012.
“In the view of the crime history the court sentenced Ravil Tugushev and Ali Tyugaev to 2 years and 8 months of imprisonment, and Rafik Kosnikov — 2 years and 2 months of imprisonment in a penal colony. The decision has not entered into force yet,’ the agency interlocutor explained.
