Penza, 27 August 2013. PenzaNews. A lift arm of the boom crane fell on the building of the Penza regional Philharmonic, which is under construction for 350th anniversary of Penza, on Tuesday, August 27.

“According to preliminary information, at around 14.00 they were raising the lift arm of the crane when it bent towards the facade of the Philharmonic. There are no victims registered,” the Head of the Department for Civil Defense and Emergencies of Penza Alexei Mikhailov.

He said that as a result of the accident, the building under construction received minor damage.

“The tiles of the top floor are damaged on the area of six square meters,” the agency interlocutor said.
