Two citizens of Latvia injured in car accident on highway in Penza region

Penza, 29 August 2013. PenzaNews. Two citizens of Latvia — a man, born 1982, and a woman, born 1985, — were injured in an accident which occurred on the 741st km of the federal highway M5 “Ural” in Kuznetsky area, the Penza region.
“According to preliminary data, at around 16.35 on Wednesday, August 28, the driver of Hyundai truck from the Ryazan region lost control of his vehicle and collided with Volkswagen Passat standing on the pavement. As a result, the driver and the passenger of the car received closed spinal cord injuries, the man was also diagnosed brain concussion,” the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Russia told news agency “PenzaNews.”
The ministry added that the circumstances of the accident are investigated.
“Institution of a criminal case is under consideration,” the press service noted.
