Police raided illegal immigrants in Penza markets

Penza, 30 August 2013. PenzaNews. Penza police conducted a large-scale raid to identify the violators of immigration laws on Zeleny and Ruseevsky markets in Penza.

“19 people were detained having no identity documents. Foreign citizens were taken to the police station for verification of their involvement in any crimes in the region. The immigrant were photographed and fingerprinted, the acquired information was put in the database,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

According to the deputy chief of the city police of the Russian Federation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Gavryushin, 8 violations of immigration law were registered in Penza during the past week. The court made a decision to expel the citizens of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan from the Russian Federation.
