Penza, 12 September 2013. PenzaNews. The police stopped illegal production of counterfeit CD and DVD discs, which operated in one of the shoe workshops located in Zheleznodorozhny district of Penza.

“During the operation conducted by the officers of the department of economic security and anti-corruption together with the district officers, they found 965 discs with movies, music and computer games having signs of counterfeit. In addition, the room was equipped with 32 disc recorders and 4 color printer to make the covers,” the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The ministry clarified that the products of the workshop were confiscated for further investigation, upon the results of which procedural decision will be made.

“At present, the police are establishing the market of the counterfeit products,” the department noted.
