Criminal case instituted on deliberate bankruptcy of SKM Energoservice in Penza

Penza, 23 September 2013. PenzaNews. District Attorney of Pervomaysky district of Penza upheld a criminal case under Art. 196 of the Criminal Code on the deliberate bankruptcy of SKM Energoservice, which provides heat energy for the needs of the city residents.

“The court determined a monitoring procedure to be held against SKM Energoservice. On July 29, 2013 the organization has been declared a bankrupt, and entered bankruptcy proceedings,” the Senior Assistant Attorney of the region Yuliya Makarova told news agency “PenzaNews.”

At the same time, she said, it was established that in the period from January 2011 to December 2012 the executives of SKM Energoservice conducted illegal financial and economic activity, and committed actions definitely leading to the failure of the legal entity to fully satisfy the claims of creditors and to fulfill the obligations of mandatory payments.

“These actions led to a debt in the amount of over 227 million rubles, of which about 200 million rubles they owe to LLC “Gazprom mezhregiongaz Penza,” while accounts receivable amount to around 163 million rubles,” the agency interlocutor explained.

The criminal investigation is supervised by the prosecutor of Pervomaysky district of Penza.
