Penza, 25 September 2013. PenzaNews. The former head of Povolzhye Group Aexander Apenkin was convicted of an offense under Part 2, Art. 201 of the Criminal Code “Abuse of power.”

According to the press service of Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Penza, Alexander Apenkin was sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 3 years and 2 months in a penal colony.

Povolzhye Group concluded around 890 contracts of shareholding in four construction projects — two houses were to be built in the 10th microdistrict of Arbekovo, one in Tambovskaya St., and a group of houses at the intersection of Krasnaya St. and Sverdlova St. None of the scheduled buildings was constructed.
