19-year-old man who fired at bus with children detained in Penza region

Penza, 26 September 2013. PenzaNews. 19-year-old resident of village Inderka, Sosnovoborsky area, the Penza region was detained on suspicion of firing at a bus with children, who were returning home after the competitions.

“An attacker shot at the moving vehicle twice. As a result, the rear window of the bus was damaged, none of the children were injured,” the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region told news agency “PenzaNews.”
He said that the identity of the suspect was established without delay.
“He turned out to be a young man who was previously twice convicted. He tried to hide from the police, but was arrested. The man was in a state of intoxication. The weapon confiscated during the arrest was an air gun, loaded with metal balls,” the agency interlocutor said.
The representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region specified that a criminal case was instituted under article “Hooliganism.”
“The suspect was restricted by the recognizance not to leave the city,” he concluded.
