Four people accused of beating young man for standing up for girls in Penza

Penza, 26 September 2013. PenzaNews. Four residents of Penza aged 19-23 are accused of the brutal beating of a 17-year-old young man, who stood up for the girls.

“According to the investigation, in the evening, September 12, 2013 a group of two girls and two young men were standing by trading stand in Dzerzhinskogo St. At this point one of the young men said something swearing to the girls. The 17-year-old young man decided to stand up for them and made a remark to the offender. It seemed that the conflict was over. However, when the company was by one of the houses in Lunacharskogo St., the young man was approached by a friend of the offender and began to beat him. Later, when the victim was already on the ground, three other young men including the instigator of the conflict continued beating the teenager,” the Senior Assistant of the Head of Investigative Department of Investigative Committee in Penza, Media relations division Lyudmila Fomina told news agency “PenzNews.”
She said that the boy was hospitalized with an open head injury, multiple bruises of the head and face.
“Currently, the three offenders are taken into custody, and the fourth one is under house arrest. The criminal investigation is ongoing,” the agency interlocutor summarized.
