Penza, 30 September 2013. PenzaNews. Leninsky district court of Penza extended the house arrest period for the head of city housing and communal services Alexei Agafilov for two more months until December 1. The information was told to news agency PenzaNews in the court on Monday, September, 30.

The head of Penza city housing and communal services Alexei Agafilov is a defendant in a large scale fraud, in particular, of contrivance with the municipal land plot. Criminal proceedings were initiated against him under Part 4, Art. 159 of the Criminal Code “Fraud.”

The head of Penza city housing and communal services is forbidden to communicate with anyone but close relatives, except for participation in investigation actions with regard to the criminal case. He is allowed to use a phone and the Internet only for calling a doctor or communicating with the crime investigator. Moreover, he cannot send or receive postal telegraph letters.

Alexei Agafilov is also forbidden to leave the place he stays except that he visits medical treatment facility for getting medical care.

Started from September 24, Mikhail Glushkov has performed the duties of the head of Penza city housing and communal services.
