Penza, 1 October 2013. PenzaNews. Committee of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia in the Penza region recognized the actions taken by the LLC “Gorvodokanal,”, that is imposing of the water flow meter characteristics, unstatutable because of abusive use of the prevailing role in the market, as well as breach of the Protection of Competition Law.

“When specifying technical requirements for water flow meter fixing in the non-living premises of the building No. 121 in Moskovskaya Street in Penza, which is in use of the regional Tatar national cultural autonomy, “Gorvodokanal” specialists required to set up a water flow meter with distant readings taking,” Marina Goryacheva, the press agent of the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia told news agency “PenzaNews.”

She explained that activities or inactivities of the dominant economic entity, causing infringement of somebody’s interests, are prohibited by the federal law.
