Hungry Kuznetsk resident commits robbery to get some food

Kuznetsk, 9 October 2013. PenzaNews. 30-year-old resident of Kuznetsk of the Penza region confessed to robbery, explaining that he committed the crime because of hunger.

“The incident happened near the shop in Levanevsky St. The man, being familiar to the woman coming out of the shop, grabbed her bags with products and ran away. The attacker was arrested hot on the heels. He was an unemployed local resident in a state of alcoholic intoxication. He explained that he robbed the woman because he was hungry,” the press service of the regional office of Russian Internal Affairs Ministry told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The press service added that the criminal case was initiated on the incident.
