Penza, 15 October 2013. PenzaNews. The penalty of a fine in the amount of 250 thousand rubles was assigned to the head of the Penza department of All-Russian non-profit organization for the disabled “Chernobylets”; she was found guilty in tax dodging on an especially large scale.

“It was established that within the period between January 2011 and January 2012 the head of the organization developed a criminal scheme. She eluded from tax paying by illegally using tax allowance for social organizations for the disabled, while “Chernobylets” branch No. 4 was performing commercial activities, building real estate units and being a VAT taxpayer,” Luydmila Fomina, the Senior Assistant of the Head of Investigative Department of Investigative Committee in Penza, Media Relations division, told news agency “PenzaNews.”

She said that the convicted withheld payment in the amount of 90 million rubles, which compiles 41% of the organization’s income.

“The sentence has not yet taken effect,” the agency interlocutor remarked.
