Penza, 24 October 2013. PenzaNews. Two of the three Gypsies, who in April 2013 attacked the pensioner in Aleksandrovskoe village of the Penza area, the Penza region, were detained by the police in Poim.

“It was established that the attackers broke into the house of the elder woman at night. At threat of violence, they forced the victim to give them her savings – 100 thousand rubles, then they tied the pensioner and fled. While questioning the local residents, the officers of the criminal investigation department found out that the man and the woman with similar features had been seen in the village the day before the attack; they went from house to house and sold different things. However, nobody memorized the number of the car, which the suspects drove,” the press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The department said that a few months later the police got on the track of the law breakers.

“They were residents of the Poim village. In the result the 42-year-old man and the 45-year-old woman were detained and the third accomplice is on the wanted list,” the department said.
