“It was established that the individual entrepreneur has no license to carry out gambling activities in the betting office. However, he accepts bets on sporting events, that means he illegally organizes and conducts games of chance,” the senior assistant attorney of the Penza region Yuliya Makarova told news agency “PenzaNews.”

She said that the statement of claim for recognition the businessman’s activities illegal and for their termination was filed at the place of residence of the businessman to Laishevsky District Court of Tatarstan.

“In addition, an administrative offence case was initiated against him under Part 1 Art. 14.1.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation “Illegal organization of gambling”, the case was filed in the court,” the agency interlocutor said.
