Penza, 12 November 2013. PenzaNews. A group of poachers illegally shot a moose deer in the forest in Zemetchinsky area of the Penza region.

“The animal guts were found by the police during a joint raid with staff of the hunt management of the Ministry of the Forestry. They noticed men with backpacks and bags, who were trying to flee. In the result, they managed to detain only one of them. The 30-year-old resident of the Vadinsk village had a corpse of a moose deer in the backpack,” the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

“The check is being conducted upon the poaching, the initiation of criminal case is being considered,” the press service added.
