Murder-for-hire organized by 75-year-old female pensioner prevented in Penza

Penza, 3 December 2013. PenzaNews. 75-year-old Penza resident, ordered the murder, intended to end the life of her 63-year-old relative, whose son was involved in the death of her granddaughter in 2010. This was reported to news agency PenzaNews by the Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of Investigative Committee in Penza, Media relations division, Lyudmila Fomina on Tuesday, December 3.

“To execute the plan the woman actively looked for people who could fill her order, among other things she applied to a homeless person. She promised 50 thousand rubles for killing the relative. This information reached the law enforcement bodies. As a result, the operation was organized to apprehend the suspect. A special agent of the criminal investigation department in the role of a killer contacted the pensioner. During numerous meetings, the woman insisted on doing bodily harm and killing the relative, afterwards she gave “the performers” necessary information about the victim, his photo and 1 thousand rubles as a pre-payment,” the agency interlocutor said.

She added that the lawbreaker was detained on November 15 after the fictitious murder while handing over the promised money in the amount of 10 thousand rubles.

“During the investigation, the woman admitted her guilt. Currently, she is charged with preparing to incite a murder-for-hire. The pre-trial restraint was imposed to her. The criminal investigation is ongoing,” Lyudmila Fomina concluded.
