Main Directorate for Road Traffic Safety: Minibus entering oncoming lane caused accident in Penza region

Penza, 9 December 2013. PenzaNews. The cause of the tragic accident in the Issinsky area of the Penza region, in which three people died and six got injuries of varying degrees of severity, was the minibus Hyundai entering an oncoming lane.

“According to preliminary information, the driver of the minibus lost control and entered the oncoming lane, where the minibus collided with a MAN truck. Because of the accident, the man driving the Hyundai minibus and two passengers, born 1992 and 1993, died. Among the hospitalized are five men and one woman,” the propaganda department of the office of Main Directorate for Road Traffic Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”
According to the main office of the Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Penza region, the minibus was moving from the Saratov region.
According to updated information, the accident happened at about 8.50 on Monday, December 9, in the 337 km of the Nizhny Novgorod-Saratov route.
