Ruzaevka, 10 December 2013. PenzaNews. A 21-year-old student of Saratov State Technical University Yaroslav Karev, who got serious injuries as the result of minibus and truck collision happened in the Penza region last Monday, December 9, died in the hospital of the town of Ruzaevka.

After the accident, the young man was hospitalized with fractures and a large loss of blood, news agency “Versiya-Saratov” reports.

Thus, the number of victims of the accident increased to four.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, on Monday morning, December 9, in the 337 km of the Nizhny Novgorod – Saratov route in the territory of the Issinsky area of the Penza region, minibus Hyundai from the Saratov region collided head-on with MAN truck from the Kursk region.

As the result, three men died at the scene: the minibus driver and two passengers – 22-year-old Viktor Shatobin and 21-year-old Maksim Bogatyrev, who as members of the “Team of SSTU” were returning from the finals of the KVN (Club of the Funny and Inventive) League from Nizhny Novgorod.

Six more people – five men and a woman – were hospitalized.

The circumstances of the accident are being investigated.

According to preliminary information, the minibus entering an oncoming lane could cause the accident.

It is possible that severe weather conditions could provoke the accident.
