Penza, 12 December 2013. PenzaNews. Penza police is searching for people involved in theft of two expensive off-roaders Toyota Land Cruiser 200 perpetrated on the same scheme in the territory of the micro district of Arbekovo in November 2013.

“Both the vehicles were stolen in the nighttime. They were parked in the yards of residential houses in unguarded parking lots. The schemes of the crimes are similar: the criminals chose the car in the daytime, followed it to the parking lot, afterwards using special equipment they opened the car, started the engine and stole the vehicle,” the head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region Andrei Kataev reported on Thursday, December 12.

He stressed that such cars are stolen, as a rule, for their selling in other subordinate entities of the Russian Federation or in the territory of foreign countries.
