Driver hits child in sledge in Penza region

Penza, 12 December 2013. PenzaNews. A boy, born 2012, who was sledged by parents, got injured in a traffic accident in the Kameshkirsky area of the Penza region.

“The incident occurred on Wednesday morning, December 11. The circumstances of the accident are being clarified. It is known that the perpetrator who ran over the child is the driver of a VAZ-21140 car, born 1974,” the propaganda department of the office of Main Directorate for Road Traffic Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The traffic police said that the child has a preliminary diagnosis of closed head injury.
