In Penza region district police officer tracks down killers carrying sled with corpse to river

Penza, 17 December 2013. PenzaNews. The district police officer detained two men suspected of killing their familiar in the Kuznetsky area of the Penza region.

“One of the residents of the village Annenkovo called the police and said that two men with a sled took a suspicious burden down to the river Tyutnyarka and dropped in onto the ice. Upon arrival, the district police officer found a body of a man with signs of violent death. He reported on the finding to the police control room and the crime scene investigation crew and followed the traces on the snow,” the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told news agency PenzaNews on Tuesday, December 17.

The press service said that the footprints led to a barrack where the suspects were hiding – a 26-year-old resident of the village Annenkovo and a 32-year-old resident of Kuznetsk.

“They were detained and taken to the police department,” the press service said.

The press service explained that during a quarrel, the men stabbed their familiar and then they tried to get rid of the corpse.

“The criminal case was initiated upon the murder,” the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region concluded.
