Penza, 30 December 2013. PenzaNews. 20-year-old resident of the Gorodischensky area of the Penza region is accused of killing his 18-year-old friend who owed 15 thousand rubles to him.

“The man confessed to the crime. He explained that on 4 December 2013 he asked the victim to pick him up from village Kolyshley and take him to Penza. During the trip there occurred a conflict between the friends related to the debt return. Afterwards, the accused suggested stopping the car. After getting out of the car he said that the tire was flat. When the young man bent over, the accused stabbed him with a knife, which he had taken from the glove box, in the neck area. Then, he dragged him in the tree belt area and drove away in the victim’s car. Later on, the accused took the car to the children’s camp and stole some automotive parts,” the Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Penza, Media relations, Lyudmila Fomina told news agency “PenzaNews.”

She noted that the accused and the victim were brought up in the same orphanage.

“Currently the investigators continue to execute a set of measures aimed at consolidating the evidence base. Pre-trial restraint in the form of custody was imposed to the accused. The investigation is continuing,” the agency interlocutor said.
