Penza, 8 January 2014. PenzaNews. Police officers are searching for an unidentified driver of car who fled the scene of an accident after hitting a 7-year-old girl near house No. 3A in 65 Let Pobedy Street in Penza.

“The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon, January 7. According to preliminary data, the driver was moving from the surrounding area,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The ministry added that the schoolgirl was hospitalized.

“She was diagnosed with brain concussion,” said the press service.

According to the department, check is being conducted upon the accident; measures are taken to arrest the driver.
